Words cannot express our gratitude to you and your staff! From the moment we walked in the door, we've been nothing short of amazed at the compassion and care the Westlake Village Animal Hospital offers its patients and clients. It is a blessing to see an animal hospital with such a loving and caring environment.

It is more than apparent that you and your team truly care about the well being of animals! When we first brought Diesel in, we had already been to four different animal hospitals trying to figure out what was making him sick. We knew something was really wrong, but seemed like no one believed us.

Many of the others brushed off his symptoms as allergies and didn't take the time to really listen to what was going on. When his health hit the bottom and he started having seizures, we were told that he probably wouldn't make it. We were of course devastated. The other veterinarians seemed to have given up hope, but we couldn't accept it.

Upon recommendation from a good friend (whom we are also indebted to!), we brought Diesel here to Westlake and couldn't believe the stark difference in treatment. For the first time, we felt like Diesel was in good hands and we had hope that he would be okay. After six long months of seeing our little guy suffer we saw great improvement in his symptoms in less than a month!

Before bringing him into WVAH, he was lethargic, depressed, and clearly in pain, but now he is up and running around like a brand new kitten! We know he has some recovery time to go through before he is normal again, but to see him happy and on his way to being healthy is a greater gift than we could have ever expected. We are SO extremely appreciative! Thank you for saving Diesel's life!

"Dear Stan", My dog, Oliver is a client of your Animal Hospital and today I am writing to let you know how thrilled I am with the experience Oliver and I had today.   We met Dr. Woolf for the first time and being a Feng Shui Consultant, I have a true appreciation for Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.   I was very impressed with Dr. Woolf, her knowledge, her approach to treatment, as well as her “bed-side manner”.   I think she is a wonderful asset to your practice and in my opinion she fits in with you, your son and your staff’s energy.  I also noticed on the front door today that Dr. Martin has joined you and this also thrills me!   When I first moved to the Conejo Valley, my dog had a rather serious eye injury and I was referred to a local office by a neighbor and Dr. Martin was the vet on staff that day and he was wonderful!   I intentionally made the follow-up appt on a day when he was working so that he could check Oliver himself.  He too, in my opinion fits in well with your staff, your business approach and your treatment style.  I didn’t stay with that vet’s office because Dr. Howard only worked one day a week and my search lead me to your office so it is truly great news to hear that Dr. Howard is joining your practice even if only one day a week.   I truly feel that whether Dr. Slaton, Dr. Woolf or Dr. Howard treated my dog he would be given the best of care.   What a wonderful team you have!

Not only was this my first time coming to the Westlake Village Animal Hospital, but it's the first time I've left one of my babies, Lexi, with strangers and left feeling confident that she was, and is, receiving the best possible care & love she could possibly get during her hospitalization. Dear Dr. Slaton:

This is a note of thanks! I am a new client and I brought my dog Marley to you for a spay yesterday. From the helpful receptionist, to the friendly Big Dog who greeted us at the door felt she was in good hands. I was especially impressed when I picked Marley up at 5PM and asked if her ears could be checked since I had forgotten to mention it that morning.

Your technician came out to tell me that she had noticed the ears needed cleaning when she was in surgery and she took care of it then! After a complete briefing about the after surgery care that was necessary, I asked for some sedatives in case my puppy was too active during the next few days. I was given the prescription and told to give only a half a pill or less. When I opened the container this morning, very thoughtfully your technician had cut all of the pills in half! It is little things like this that say a whole lot...I knew that selecting your office was the right choice and am convinced that your staff is dedicated to giving the utmost care and service

Four months ago we lost our 5 year old labradoodle to a rare auto immune disease. My previous vet of 5 years was excellent, but their fees had escalated over the years and became higher than the specialists we were also seeing in Ventura. I decided to interview veterinarians when we got Marley. I selected your office based upon your doctors, front office staff` and fees. Although I was nervous about trying a new vet, I am very happy we did!
